GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY 2025 SEASON RECAP

The Olentangy Orange Girls cross country team put up a strong and competitive 2025 season, highlighted by multiple standout performances and return to the state championships.The team opened their season on september 6 at Watkins Memorial Mcgowan Invitational, where senior Brooke Chapman set the tone early by winning the girls 500m race with an impressive 17:17.11 time. Two weeks later on September 20 at the Flashrock Invitational, Chapman continued to lead the team, finishing 11th in a deep, competitive field with a time of 18:32.11. Teammate Ava Pazak also contributed, placing 72nd with a time of 20:23.5. The Team kept up the momentum into the Berlin Bear Den Dash on September 27, Where Chapman added another strong finish placing 6th in 17:54.98. At the OCC Championships, Chapman continued her run of high placements, finishing 3rd,helping the team stay competitive while heading into the postseason. The team then advanced to the Region 3 Championship on October 25 where senior Brooke Chapman placed 5th, qualifying for the state meet for the fourth time in her career, a rare and impressive achievement. The Olentangy Orange Girls Cross Country teams season concluded at the Ohio State Championships on November 1 at Fortress Obetz, where Chapman capped her senior year with an amazing 2nd place finish, with a season best time of 17:35.59.
